I must say...

All complaints aside. The teachers and staff here are awesome. Yes, everything in this school sucks, but our teachers are pretty cool you have to admit. I've never needed to complain about a teacher since I've started going to school here. Obviously for me, finding reasons to complain isn't hard at all. Even the man that says hello in the lobby in the morning is so pleasant. The registrar at this school is the nicest lady in the world! I always need help picking my classes and it isn't her job to tell me whats a better schedule for me, but she does anyways. The students that work in the front are always cool too. Especially, when you need to leave the financial aid office a message they make sure to get it to them. All my teachers have been very uplifting and motivating. Even some of the teachers that I've never had have gotten to know me and given good advice. Maybe having good teachers and good education is more important than a fancy school.

Hello is anyone there????

I forgot, do we have someone that takes care of financial aid in this school? Everytime I go to that office the door is closed and no one is in there. Oh, but I forgot to mention you can make an appointment that the financial aid person will show up to 2 hours late. I understand that there are night students too, but what about us who come to school in the morning . Maybe because we work the evenings and can't wait all day for someone to get to their office. Then you get questioned on why you haven't turned things into the office. Maybe because your never there!! Don't you think that is a little bit unprofessional? The school should hire someone for the morning schedule and someone for the night schedule. How hard is it to figure that out. Financial aid is probably one of the most important things to us students. We would like to know whats going on with loan approvals etc. It is just frustrating that we have to wait weeks at a time to get answers. I would pretty much need to change my work schedule to get an appointment with the financial aid office.

No Cafeteria!!!!

This little hall way is usually where my fellow classmates and I eat lunch. How funny is it that we don't have a cafeteria? Where are we suppose to eat? I hate bringing my lunch, I feel like the only place I'm aloud to eat it is the icky bathrooms! Wait a mintue, we can't even bring any food or drink into the classrooms, computer lab or library. That's crazy if you ask me. Just to quench my thirst, I have to get up in the middle of class to go to the ghetto water fountain. The water pressure on that thing sucks if you haven't noticed. I feel bad for the teachers and staff, where do they eat? At least we can bend the rules a little bit. I know they down sized the school, but no cafeteria? They schould turn one of the classrooms into a "designated eating area" for students and staff. I should start a request and have everbody sign it, maybe well get somewhere. Honestly thats probably against the law to not have a place for your students/staff to eat. If I worked somewhere I would definately quit if i knew I had to go out to lunch everday.

Stupid Computers

How come it literally takes 15min to log onto these computers? Then, when your finally logged on, it takes another 5min for the internet to start working. I bet only 10 put of the 50 computers here work decently. How annoying is it that we have to know which computers are completely shot before we wate our time attempting to log on. Sometimes my patience runs real low and I plan on throwing one of the monitors out of the window. That damn hour glass, I can't stand watching that stupid thing flip up and down for severasl mintues while trying to get a new web address. We are better off using our phones. I could write a paper faster on my blackberry then I could in this school. Have you ever noticed that the computer lab is like a sauna? I mean, I can barely breath it's so hot in that room. Where is our tuition money going? Not to necessary equipment apparently. The funny thing is we have an "IT guy", I've been going to this school for over a year and have never seen this man. I seriously wonder, this place is about 4,000 square feet and nothing works right in this tiny space we call school.

Icky School Bathrooms

I find it ridiculous that when I enter the ladies room in between my classes the smell is rancid! Ok, fine the washrooms here don't smell like roses. Whatever. After using one of our nasty stalls, I come out to wash and dry my hands, there's no soap. What is that about? I mean does this school not have enough money in their budget to hire a maintenance crew. Considering our tuition is about $40,000 a year or by the time were through with the program. You would think using the bathroom wouldn't be an issue. It seems impossible to me that this facility isn't spotless. There is only one floor to maintain and about, I would say 100 students in this school. How hard could it be? This bathroom experience only gets better. Then, I literally have to put my hands under the sink for about 5 minutes until the water actually starts to run. At this point I don't even want to wash my hands. For what? The garbage is constantly overflowing. I almost want to change the garabage for them. It's pretty sad. They should create a new course Student Maintence 101 give us credits and we'll clean the bathrooms!

Hello My Fellow Bloggers
